  4. Rifle Christmas shoot 2012

    The two first prize winners of this years christmas shoot held at Bearsted range on Thursday 20th December 2012 were:

  5. 2012 Christmas Shoot

    The clubs annual christmas prize shoot was held this year on the 8th of December at JJ's shooting ground.

    The winners were as follows:

  6. Probationary Members

    Due to current overcrowding issues at 7PM, I would be grateful if ALL probationary members could arrive later in the evening at around the 8PM time frame until further notice.

  7. Membership Applications

    Please be aware that if you are considering becoming a prospective member we are currently experiencing a high level of interest.  For this reason it may be necessary for you to go on a waiting list before we have space for you to attend.  We will endeavour to keep this to the shortest  time possible.  This may not be necessary for certain activities we carry out.  Please contact us using the contact form for more details and we will assist you in any way we can

  8. Club Christmas Dinner 2012

    The club's Christmas dinner is to be held at the:

    Moat Pub Restaurant Wrotham Nr Sevenoaks, Kent, TN15 7RR

    on Wednesday 12th December.   Please arrive promptly and no later than 19:50 hours.

  9. Race Night Results

     The club's latest race night was held this Saturday and raised a total of £163.97 for club funds.  We would like to say thanks to the people that organised the evening, and the members who were in attendance.  

  10. Bearsted Range Closure

    The Bearsted Range will be closed for one week.  We will not be shooting on the 10th of May 2012.  Shooting at Bearsted will resume on the 17th May 2012. 

  11. New NRA Range Conducting Officers

    The following members have now joined the other club RCOs:

    Gary Rush Vice Chairman
    June Bick Social Secretary
    Tony Singh  

    In order to achieve this they were required to attend a two day course at Bisley and pass written tests as well as demonstrating practical experience on the range.

  12. Club Race Night

    It is nearly time for another club race night.This event will be held on Saturday 12th May 2012 at the Granary Hall building in Larkfield (Granary Hall, Church Farm, 198 New Hythe Lane, Larkfield, Kent, ME20 6ST.)The first race will start at 7.30 p.m., with doors opening at 7.15 p.m. The entrance fee is set at £5.00 per head including a light buffet and two free bets. 

  13. Upgrades to Tubslake facility

    The range at Tubslake has now been upgraded to allow for Centre fire pistol calibres (no magnum loads) up to a maximum of .455

    Lead bullets only (no jackets)

    This gives an indoor facility for shooting carbine and LBR / LB Pistols, once a month as usual.

    If their is sufficient interest in using this facility more often we may look at increasing this usage.

    The dedicated air gun range is now to be used by .17 air rifle only.  The main range can be used for .22 air rifle / pistol usage

  14. Race Night Results

    Our recent race night was another good evening for all of those that attended.  This event raised over £300 for club funds. Our thanks to those members which assisted and made the evening enjoyable for all. 

  15. Race Night

    The Club has arranged to hold another horse racing night on Saturday 3rd March at the Granary Hall building in Larkfield (Granary Hall, Church Farm, 198 New Hythe Lane, Larkfield, Kent, ME20 6ST.)

    The first race will start at 7.30 p.m., with doors opening at 7.15 p.m. The entrance fee is set at £5.00 per head including a light buffet and two free bets.

    We will supply soft drinks, including tea and coffee, but if you would like to bring alcohol please feel free to.

    Bets cost 50 pence each, with a small percentage of the prize-money going towards Club funds.

    Please bring your family and friends to this event, as the more people betting the larger the prize pot could be! If you would like to come, can you please let us know as there is a limit on places available. See June or Claire for further details.

    If you can't make it on the night, you can still join in by buying raffle tickets. We have some fantastic prizes available to win with a value of over £150! These include:
